The name of our sampling library Banchetto
Musicale
derives from
an early 17th century collection of
Dance-Suites; and indeed
-
this new production is focussing on the musical
instruments of that
period. Besides the instrumentes of courtly
and civic music
culture like Shawm, Krumhorn, Recorder,
Bass Fanfare and Rauschpfeife
You will also find a number of peasants- and
jugglers instruments that
were in use in those days. Different Hurdy
Gurdies, Bagpipes, Signal Horn,
Shepards Trumpet,One Hand
Flute and String Tamburin.
